Chicken and Dumplings
Recipe Type: Dinner
Ingredients
- 2 chicken thighs
- yellow onion
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 carrot
- 2 mushroom
- 1/3 bell pepper
- 1/2 tomato
- 1/2 zuchinni
- sage
- parsley
- 1/4 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- kosher salt
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbl yogurt
Instructions
- Add chicken thighs, 1/4 onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 4 cups water to pressure cooker.
- Bring to pressure
- Cook 30 min.
- Make Dumpling dough with flour, egg, yogurt, and half of salt
- When safe, remove chicken from pressure cooker
- Chop veggies and Add to pressure cooker
- Add soy sauce and paprika to pressure cooker
- Simmer
- Roll out dumpling dough
- Cut into 24 dumplings
- Boil dumplings for 10 mins.
- Add to pressure cooker pot
- Pull bones out of chicken and cut into big chunks
- Add to pot
- Add any extra flour, other half teaspoon of salt, chopped parsley and black pepper to pot
- Serve
