Chicken and Dumplings
Recipe Type: Dinner
Ingredients
  • 2 chicken thighs
  • yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 mushroom
  • 1/3 bell pepper
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/2 zuchinni
  • sage
  • parsley
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • kosher salt
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbl yogurt
Instructions
  1. Add chicken thighs, 1/4 onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 4 cups water to pressure cooker.
  2. Bring to pressure
  3. Cook 30 min.
  4. Make Dumpling dough with flour, egg, yogurt, and half of salt
  5. When safe, remove chicken from pressure cooker
  6. Chop veggies and Add to pressure cooker
  7. Add soy sauce and paprika to pressure cooker
  8. Simmer
  9. Roll out dumpling dough
  10. Cut into 24 dumplings
  11. Boil dumplings for 10 mins.
  12. Add to pressure cooker pot
  13. Pull bones out of chicken and cut into big chunks
  14. Add to pot
  15. Add any extra flour, other half teaspoon of salt, chopped parsley and black pepper to pot
  16. Serve
