We inherited some chickens! We have been talking about having chickens for a few years now but just haven’t gotten to it. Some friends of some friends made it happen for us. We inherited 3 chickens, 2 of which are still laying,. With the chickens came a coop, fencing, feeders, and food! Super awesome. We’re ready to start caring for our backyard chickens!
The chickens even came with names. Scottie, Ebb and Flow. They are very sweet girls. I was a little nervous for the introduction to our dog, but it was fine. Molly likes to chase them a little bit but I read that it actually is good exercise for the chickens. We have had some other dogs over, so far so good. My 2 year old also loves the chickens. They have really been a great addition. I love when I come out to the backyard and the chickens come running to greet me!
